Built for the worst day, not the inspection.

BoardOS sees a problem forming. Mechanical triggers act without waiting for a decision. Communication tells first responders what is happening and exactly where. Occupants and the fire service don't get to choose the system in their building. They inherit it. That is the standard we design to, and the trust we have to earn.

How it fails safe
Architecture01
Cell-to-cell propagation does not occur. Not suppressed, not interrupted — prevented by how the pack is built, and demonstrated under UL 9540A large-scale fire testing rather than asserted.
Thermal02
Thermal transfer stops at the cell. There is no path for heat to move through the system.
Mechanical03
Triggers that act without power, software, or a human decision. They work when nothing else is working.
Digital04
BoardOS sees a problem forming and acts before it becomes one.
Communication05
BoardOS tells the fire service what it needs before they enter: internal and external temperature, exact location, state of charge.

The first two require nothing to work correctly. That is the difference between a system that responds to failure and one that cannot propagate it. The fifth is for the people who arrive when something does.

We design safety for the people who keep us safe.

A firefighter should know what is in a building before walking into it, not discover it.
